Lundby is the world’s oldest manufactured doll’s houses dating back to 1945 and the most contemporary when it comes to look. More than 70 years on and the dollhouse brand is still breaking new ground. New ranges of furniture and accessories are constantly being developed to keep the Sweet Lundby Home fresh and contemporary and the new Lundby Creative Doll House is no exception. 70 years after the first dollhouse was sold under the Lundby trademark the latest modernisation hits the market in September.
The new Creative Doll’s House targets the three-year old plus market who are ready to enjoy their own play space. The new Lundby Creative doll’s house is a fun house where they can let their imagination run wild! They can be as creative as they like with this doll’s house easily, thanks to the sliding wall panels and complementing simple and colourful furniture pieces. The new basic furniture range makes for a free play experience with the versatility to change the look quickly and simply, there are no rules.
There’s plenty of scope for their own ideas, they can remove the back walls of the Lundby Creative doll’s house and play from both sides. They can turn round the back walls in the two ground floor rooms and swap the wallpaper round. This doll’s house also comes with two extra sticker packs and two wall set stickers to create different themes to decorate their house. They can stick them on and remove them easily if they would like to move them around in the house. The original wallpapers are designed by Creative Karin, a professional craftsperson and DIY stylist. Light pastel colours and playful patterns are the name of the game. Furniture and dolls are sold separately.
The Lundby Creative Doll’s House has been nominated for Toy of the Year in Sweden and with all these wonderful new features it is sure to inspire both young and older creative designers.
